A. Make sure you are logged in the server as the Domain Account that you are installing running ProntoServer under and that the account is an administrator to this server as well.

This example will use MyDomain as the Domain and MyDomain\ProntoServer as the domain user account.  You will need to swap out your domain and account appropriately, however.

in the \AlphaTrust\Pronto\Programs\ directory, right-click on your ProntoLicense####.bat file and select Edit

Edit the file so that the –a ProntoServer is changed to –a MyDomain\ProntoServer

Then copy the password that comes after –p (in the below example the password is ps0008) save and close this file and keep this password in your clipboard to paste later in this process.

You may now close the MMC Console.

In the \AlphaTrust\Pronto\Programs\ProntoConfig.ini file, go to the [CERT_INFO] section and change Store=LM to Store=CU

You can now start the AlphaTrust Pronto Service.  (Or stop and re-start it if it’s already running)
